Everything from finding the best contractors and triple bidding the work, to building and city compliance, budget and timeline management - all to ensure that your project is delivered on budget and as promised.
Second, you neighbors have similar projects. So we decided to pool them together to attract great contractors with larger and more profitable projects, and get better pricing!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Honeyman has simplified the entire home improvement process to make it easier and more affordable for you to get your project done. All you need to do is tell us what your project is. We will triple bid it across our network of licensed and insured contractors along with other projects in your area and get volume discounts.
Then, once you approve your estimate, you can just sit back, we do everything else. We ensure that all of the building and city documentation is completed, coordinate the project implementation with you, your building and the contractor, and them make sure that the work is completed as promised: on time and on budget. We have automated most of the admin work, so the contractor can focus on what he does best, and only bill your for time spent on the project itself, saving you money. And, both the contractors and Honeyman carry insurance, which is double protection for you.
WHY IS HONEYMAN DIFFERENT?
If you’re used to looking up contractors on Angie’s List, Home Advisor or Yelp, Honeyman is totally different. All of those services operate as directories, where contractors go to advertise themselves and their services. When you request an estimate, they send it out to contractors that have paid for “leads” (IE the opportunity to bid on your project). After that you’re on your own to evaluate which contractor is right for the job. Is he licensed and insured? Does he have experience on your specific type of project? What if there’s a problem, who to you go to? Honeyman manages the project from beginning to end, ensuring that you get the best contractors at the best prices.
WHY IS HONEYMAN MORE COST EFFECTIVE?
We negotiate volume pricing with our contractors by pooling similar project in your area for an individual contractor to work on. The larger the project, the better the pricing, whether it’s a big project or a small project that can be done in an hour.
CAN I ADD EXTRA WORK TO MY ORDER AFTER I BOOK, OR ON THE DAY OF SERVICE?
The time it takes to provide service to each customer when we combine small projects (what we call a “drive”) plays role in how we build our schedules and negotiate our pricing. We will do our best to complete the work on the same day or schedule your work for a date soon after.
WHILE GETTING A MAINTENANCE SERVICE WE DISCOVERED THAT I NEED A REPAIR. CAN I GET IT DONE NOW WHILE YOU’RE HERE?
Stuff happens, we know. But the time it takes to provide service to each customer in a drive plays a huge role in how we build our schedules and negotiate our pricing. If we can fix your issue on the spot, we will quote it and do the work during the same appointment. If not, we will provide you with quote and separate appointment for as soon as possible after.
MY CONDO HAS LOTS OF CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS, DO YOU TAKE CARE OF THAT?
YES! Honeyman works with your building management to review their requirements and define timings that will work with the building’s schedule as well as yours. That way we ensure that you don’t get bogged down in building paperwork, and our Honeymen are not delayed with admin stuff and can get to work right away!
WHY IS IT BETTER TO SHARE A CONTRACTOR?
It’s difficult to get a good contractor to come to a condo for a small job. Contractors sell their time. Doing the actual work – in the case of a small job, becomes a small fraction of the total time the contractor invests in quoting your work scheduling your project, and getting permission from your management to access your building, and completing all of their paperwork. So, either they will charge yo for all of that time, or will not take that kind of work at all. What Honeyman does is consolidate lots of small projects into larger ones and manages all of the paperwork to make the work attractive to contractors, and much cheaper for customers. Everyone wins.
ARE YOUR CONTRACTORS LICENSED AND INSURED? HOW DO YOU CERTIFY YOUR CONTRACTORS?
Yes, our contractor certification process includes verifying licenses and insurance, as well as background and reference checks.
ARE THERE ANY SERVICE FEES OR ADDITIONAL COSTS BEYOND WHAT IS QUOTED?
Our quotes are based on either specific tasks with pre-determined pricing, or hourly labor rates. Labor is not taxable, and if we need to purchase any parts or materials we will pass the cost on to you, including the applicable sales taxes. If additional time is necessary to complete a project due to an unforeseen issue, you will get a quote and need to approve it before any additional work is done with additional cost.
CAN I GET A SERVICE ON DEMAND?
For small projects that are less than a day, the way Honeyman gets the best prices is by scheduling volumes of work in advance, to be executed during a specific time frame. We can help you in an emergency, but we may not then be able to provide bulk pricing (though our prices will always be competitive). If you have a large project, we will work on a custom timeline for delivery for you.
